All it takes is a lil. preparation!

It had just stopped raining, yet standing in the balcony he was feeling suffocating - was it because of the humidity or was there something which was suffocating him from within?

Seven floors down, he noticed a girl playing. With a handful of colorful pebbles he went down, just to play with her. The girl had a small bag full of beautiful marbles, which after a while she offered him in exchange of the pebbles. The boy agreed. The girl kept the biggest and the most precious marble aside and gave the rest to the boy. The boy gave her all his pebbles. That night the guy slept peacefully but the girl couldn't. All the time she kept wondering if the guy had hidden some pebbles from her the way she had hidden the precious marble

When the boy narrated the story, I smiled a bit and said to myself that no matter how close you are to someone - be it your parents or your friends and the numerous categories in which you classify friends, If you don't your cent percent in a relationship, you'll always be skeptical about the other person has he given his/her hundred percent? Like I said, its applicable to any goddamn relation - love, job, friends, relatives and hence in order to sleep peacefully, give your hundred percent but the moment you realize that you are being used or your concern for the other person is being doubted - be ready to kick that bloody ass out of your life and then continue sleeping like a baby.

Seen a lot and felt a lot, still I'll say be prepared to give your hundred percent and expect nothing in return apart from coldness, be prepared to face the reality that while you were giving your 100% the other person will choose to show you the 'finger', you'll be taken for granted when they need you but when you need them you'll become a complete stranger to them.

This is a work of fiction mixed with true events. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental!
