Discombulated Thoughts

I think writing a blog at this time will be the only way I can acquire Lilliputian equanimity. I was going to continue taking a break from blogging because I have been so busy in god knows what.I didn’t even get time to format my pc. Something was wrong with my pc, it redirected all the blogspot requests to some weird website probably that’s another reason why I was absent from blogosphere. However, getting things off my chest is the only way I can handle some situations right now. It's really exotic how homo we all are. When the lights go off at night, and we lay ourselves on the bed, our heart beats throughout the night because we are vivaciously alive with feelings and emotions, dreams and wishes, thoughts and fears. We are scared to be a solitary reaper. Humans seem to be awfully afraid of being alone, growing up, and being alone...their entire life. Every book, movie, TV shows(don’t know about K soaps), song(excluding remixes and hard rock), they all revolve around some sort o

I heard a lot about Prof. Bani Singh and his lecture classes. All those “exceptionally” good and “unique” quotes which he used in the class.Aahh well, I guess the bonding between Bani Singh and 4 yr-ites was for only a day.. Call it our good luck or bad luck .. v could only hear one quote.. and what dat quote was.. gosh.. “The germs of dishonesty is in air” and no one could have ever imagined that dishonesty was pointing to marking of proxies !! And then he announced..he wont be taking our lectures from the coming week(current)..and there all plans of using his quotes as my Gtalk Status messages went down the drain.. And then Monday.. we all were sitting like good boys and girls.. jabbering..lafing.. :P (YEAH I CALL ‘Em gud :D)newaz… a new faculty entered the call.. some1 frm ece said.. Bani Singh has undergone a plastic surgery !! Seriously ..hats off to him.. instead of wishing the faculty .. most of us were lafing like kiddos who hv jst seen a joker for the 1st time in dere life !!H

Sending Too Many SMSes Means You Have a Mental Disorder !!

Okayy SMS addicts... dunt kill me.. am not d one who is saying this... it's like.. Some time back a doctor was pushing for internet addiction to be classified as an official mental disorder .. and now dat idiot has published an article in some American Journal stating that sending a large amount of SMS messages will qualify as well. Is too much SMSing something you need to get professional help to quit, as evidenced by the findings that “people who are denied access to the internet or mobile phones displayed feelings of anger, tension, and/or depression?"

I-m-partial Justice

A teenager was brutally murdered in a flat which is supposed to have a security system that can defer the criminals in their motives but the inevitable, however mean, cynic, treacherous it may be, can’t be hindered. Aarushi Talwar, a young girl in early teens, witnessed a façade of humanity so insane that elucidates ignominy not of the assassinator but of character assassinator-the police as well. The insolence exhibited by the so called “saviors” compels me loose faith from the slogan-“With you, for you…always”. Leave the police for the moment, what has the CBI concluded to? A sheer drama of irresponsibility, I would rather consider it. However, CBI did probe in the matter deeply or else the soul of the endeared one would have callously been bestrewed in an unheard protest for justice. Justice is expected to be “impartial”….but what we witness here does not comply in true sense. The noida police tried wash their hands off the case by accusing the father without any staunch evidence bu

Is it a new train ? Is it a new aeroplane ? Is it a new cuisine ??Is it a new word ?? yes it's a new word.. meaning..Federer n Nadal i.e. Roger Federer The King of Tennis and The King of Clay, Rafael Nadal. On the 6th of July, addition of another new chapter in the history of this world, the world of tennis n tennis fans was for sure.On one side it was the King of tennis, the man who was on his way to win 6 Wimbledon championships in a row, beating Bjorn Borg's record,Roger Federer and on the other hand it was the Spaniard, the king of clay Rafael Nadal. Right-hander against left-hander; finesse against force; cardigan against clam diggers,It was Federer against Nadal. Federer has won the Wimbledon championship five consecutive times, starting from 2003 until 2008. Rafael Nadal won his first grass championship ever, today! He is the King of clay and has beaten Federer nine times out of ten on clay, but had never won in any grass championship. Now that jinx has been broken. Nadal sh

When I was around 10, my dad gave television an accolade of idiot box and refrained me from watching it. Probably that’s why he was against cable connection but insisited on watching the NEWS (short for North East West South)instead. At that time, the news happened to be a monotony of facts and ardent information about current affairs-but was indeed informative. After almost a decade, the word “NEWS” holds its original meaning but pertaining to a slightly aloof context. It bombards with latest story (story mind it!) from the four cardinal points but these are essentially gossips in true sense. For instance, commisioner’s pet dog absconding,Amitabh Bachchan catching cold,a live coverage for 50 hours of a boy named Prince fallen in a pit (courtesy: star news, aajtak…too many to name) are witnesses to the drama effervescesing repeatedly every minute, hour, day of the week. After litany of similar incidents,it somehow feels that parents deliberately push their dear ones in open manholes/dug-

And those 10 days...

Image
For the past 10 days, my Internet connection ceased to be; apparently(according to the "broadband expert") because the telephone cable and the bsnl server thingy gave up the ghost.Ten whole days with no link to the outside world, except for the telephone of course, which isn’t quite the same is it? The big shock to my system came with the realisation that for a period of time during those days I was extremely bored. It was fine while I was SCESing, but afterwards without the Internet to distract me, I had nothing to do for the remainder of any day.The evenings were like a "chinky" running behind a monkey wid a fork..All this did get me thinking about how the absence of the Internet might affect my life.. infact the majority of us in one or the other.. Since the ‘arrival’ of the 'magic' known as the Internet, we have become obsessed to some extent with the speed with which it lets us live our lives.Do you remember the last time you used the snail mail? Or sea

Stay Hungry Stay Foolish

You must be wondering that this post is dedicated to food ..but am sorry to disappoint you IT'S NOT !! It's something one should definitely read.. Steve Jobs , the of Apple, the man behind the success of Apple, gave the commencement address at Stanford, an interesting, really remarkable address. This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs , CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005, at Stanford. "I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories. The first story is about connecting the dots. I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out? It
