I-m-partial Justice

A teenager was brutally murdered in a flat which is supposed to have a security system that can defer the criminals in their motives but the inevitable, however mean, cynic, treacherous it may be, can’t be hindered. Aarushi Talwar, a young girl in early teens, witnessed a façade of humanity so insane that elucidates ignominy not of the assassinator but of character assassinator-the police as well. The insolence exhibited by the so called “saviors” compels me loose faith from the slogan-“With you, for you…always”. Leave the police for the moment, what has the CBI concluded to? A sheer drama of irresponsibility, I would rather consider it.

However, CBI did probe in the matter deeply or else the soul of the endeared one would have callously been bestrewed in an unheard protest for justice. Justice is expected to be “impartial”….but what we witness here does not comply in true sense. The noida police tried wash their hands off the case by accusing the father without any staunch evidence but they didn’t realize that once a white bed sheet is blobbed black, it can’t be rinsed off easily. And if they are already corrupt, it makes it even more difficult for them. Adding to the agony was the fact that they didn’t even spare Aarushi, alleging her unhealthy relations with the man servant Hemraj.

Now, there’s CBI to prove the tale farce but hang on, the duel with the parents is not over yet. Claiming their non-cooperation with the investigation is something that the Talwars have become accustomed too. Alleging their involvement in wife-swapping, absence during the fateful night, non production of evidence are some tiny portions of the ruthlessness imposed on the distraught parents. Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar had only one child whom they loved pampering. They preplanned a lavish birthday party for her giving her the liberty to invite as many friends as she wanted without worrying about the finances involved, that concerned Aarushi . Its not that she didn’t reciprocate their adorance. In fact, she was one of the most intelligent girl in her school with a talent of dancing innate in her.

Accusing someone so attached to her indeed needs revision. Is it actually justified to put father under a gruesome glare of impeachment and imprison him without any full fledged evidence. Where on earth is justice? Where on earth is humanity? Where on earth is condolence to a father who has lost his most precious asset? A daughter-father relationship is revered…and here we observe a flip-side of it. Well, I believe the word “impartial” means different to these people…it is indeed “I-(a)m-partial” justice. Amen!
