Between Insomnia

Ask me to get up at 6am, when I've gone off to sleep at 3.30am, you'll get to see a dumbfounded face.But what if "something" leaves you dumbfounded in your dreams ? You'll definately get up,probably that's the reason I got up soo early..jst 150mins of sleep !!I tried sleeping again but failed miserably.


Lying on the bed,I waited for the clock to strike 7am.Finally,It was 7..i went directly to the balcony,what a pleasant weather it was- cool breeze with light showers,perfect for a long drive :)After the "used-to" struggle with the traffic i reached college.HCL was coming for recruitment.



After cursing Apple,Airtel and Vodafone for pricing iPhone at 31k,I went to LT2. There also the same iPhone discussion continued.Bloody hell,the iPhone is priced at $706 in India while it is $199 is the US !! And as I am writing this post,some news channel is showing some "show" dedicated to the iPhone !! grrrrr....


The recruitment process started at around 9,with two test-each having two sections. The first test comprised of Programming Ability and Advance Analytical Ability.There were 10ques in Programming ability section-all flowcharts and algos..wid "khatarnaak" solutions.In came Cmmdr. Rohatgi,scolded us for cheating in the test (Then the news came in that "some" students were caught cheating in LT3.After the "lecture" by sir,The next test was started-Verbal Ability which I managed to finish in 15mins :) . As soon as we exited LT2, news came in flying that HCL has cancelled the test,reason-Students caught cheating in LT3 inspite of being warned twice.After an hour or so we all assembled in LT2,with a hope that HCL will give a presentation.


But, What happened next took all of us in shock.HCL had cancelled the recruitment.The company went back-ANNOYED.A shame for the whole college. VC,Dean,Rohatgi sir scolded all of us in LT2. VC sir went on saying that if such things are repeated he'll resign.We all were asked to write an apology letter to the VC for such an indecent behaviour.


Jitne apology letter college mei likhe hai..itne toh kabhi bhi nahi likhe !!


Came home..had lunch..FINALLYYYYYYYY I completed around 90% of the literature survey for my final year project.Then watched the movie BFGF ;) --My Best Friends Girlfriend ;).. then had dinner,then some blogging n stuff.And now..Am TIRED..aur kya expect karte ho bhai ? Bacche ki jaan logey ? Am not an INSOMNIAC :D

Ramblings Again!

Consider a situation where you are signing a pact with  chariness, lack of authenticity and selfishness. You might ruin, in fact poison the relationship even before laying the foundation stone. People with whom you are dealing with will have a hard time in the face of your  incredulity, they won't be disputed to rise to your level of expectations. Over the years, I've learnt one thing. O ne should prefer concentrating on the goodwill of mortals who are doing work with you. No matter what you do, where you go, you are bound to encounter those handful of people who will try their very best to disappoint to you but eventually you'll understand that is their sole purpose of life. One thing, which I've understood during PG course is the importance of an open mind and an open heart but that just increases the vulnerability.  Maybe, one should give others a chance to live up to our trust and others should not be on a hunt to try to cultivate trust in spite of knowing

And here it is..Century!

So, the day has arrived. Finally! 100th post of my blog. I struggled with what should be the milestone post! Should it be prolific? Idealistic in nature. Broad in scope. So, I struggled. Back in 2007, few of my friends were bitten by the bug of blogging. Somehow, I managed  to spend one complete year, protecting myself from being bitten by this bug. But then, in 2008, my immunity gave in and I was affected by it. Over the years, I've seen myself maturing and its direct impact is visible in my posts. What started as a fun filled blog illustrating some of the interesting incidents of my under graduation, recipes which I used to cook(I don't have a kitchen now, only 3-4 outlets to survive apart from the mess where I hardly eat) to feelings which I used to pen down, now contains rants, poems, videos, pictures and not to forget articles. I had almost given up blogging last year but this year I started again. There was this intense drive from within to go on writing and
