Stupefying F1

October 30th 2011 and October 28th 2012 - both had one thing in common apart from being the Race Day for Indian Grand Prix! On both the dates, I left Noida to head back to my temporary abode, IMTN. I missed the Grand Prix action on both the dates but it was this time that I witnessed F1 in a different style. As different and as astonishing as one can think of.


Most of the cars in F1 are near about the same in terms of power. It's more like the battle of equals. It's exciting to watch cars roaring in front of your eyes. But what if you witness F1 off the circuit? Battle of unequals! On the expressway which connects the two densely populated dwellings across the river(supposedly) Yamuna. Now, take this - You are on your way to the airport. On the expressway you see 3 Audi's and 2 Jaguars trying to overtake each other. In comes a surprise - A maruti 800 and it zoom pasts these sexy yet mean machines. Dumbfounded you are! And to top it up, the driver of the 800 shows the middle finger to these ladies. What followed was one hell of a laughter riot within my car


-One should never be overconfident and underestimate the power of little ones!

Ramblings Again!

Consider a situation where you are signing a pact with  chariness, lack of authenticity and selfishness. You might ruin, in fact poison the relationship even before laying the foundation stone. People with whom you are dealing with will have a hard time in the face of your  incredulity, they won't be disputed to rise to your level of expectations. Over the years, I've learnt one thing. O ne should prefer concentrating on the goodwill of mortals who are doing work with you. No matter what you do, where you go, you are bound to encounter those handful of people who will try their very best to disappoint to you but eventually you'll understand that is their sole purpose of life. One thing, which I've understood during PG course is the importance of an open mind and an open heart but that just increases the vulnerability.  Maybe, one should give others a chance to live up to our trust and others should not be on a hunt to try to cultivate trust in spite of knowing

And here it is..Century!

So, the day has arrived. Finally! 100th post of my blog. I struggled with what should be the milestone post! Should it be prolific? Idealistic in nature. Broad in scope. So, I struggled. Back in 2007, few of my friends were bitten by the bug of blogging. Somehow, I managed  to spend one complete year, protecting myself from being bitten by this bug. But then, in 2008, my immunity gave in and I was affected by it. Over the years, I've seen myself maturing and its direct impact is visible in my posts. What started as a fun filled blog illustrating some of the interesting incidents of my under graduation, recipes which I used to cook(I don't have a kitchen now, only 3-4 outlets to survive apart from the mess where I hardly eat) to feelings which I used to pen down, now contains rants, poems, videos, pictures and not to forget articles. I had almost given up blogging last year but this year I started again. There was this intense drive from within to go on writing and
