Yin and Yang!


Picture this: A person is moving all alone in a desert with the sun throwing fireballs and all of a sudden he notices an oasis. An oasis, so beautiful that it could have only existed in fairy tales. The person crawls his way to the oasis and sets up a camp. With each day passing, he realizes that the oasis too has accepted him and loves his presence. Day in and Day out, the Oasis cared for this guy and the guy in turn cared for the oasis. There existed an invisible bond between the two which was like the wind, one can't see it but can feel it. 

They made a separate world of their own, free from any kind of impurity, away from evils. Both of them were like the force shield for each other, keeping the dementors at bay. One day in his dream he saw that the oasis turned into a human being who could only be compared to an angel from heaven. But soon, he realized it wasn't a dream. It was for real, the oasis had turned into an angel. People used to get jealous by their bonding and think that they had nothing in common but the reason these people couldn't understand their close knitted bond was not because they weren't using binoculars but others couldn't see that these two had a lot in common - interests, respect for each other, opinions, both knew how to make each other happy, smile and most importantly they trusted each other.

Mortals do make mistakes and allies will always make mistakes but one has to learn to shrug their own shoulders and accept that we all are only mortals and this is precisely what these two did. Nobody can be perfect and perfection is one thing which people are always looking for. Searching for something which does not exists is like searching for the taste of milk chocolate in a bar of dark chocolate. But then, you do find  someone who is near to perfection and this is precisely what happened with the mortal and the angel. These two were nearly perfect.

Ramblings Again!

Consider a situation where you are signing a pact with  chariness, lack of authenticity and selfishness. You might ruin, in fact poison the relationship even before laying the foundation stone. People with whom you are dealing with will have a hard time in the face of your  incredulity, they won't be disputed to rise to your level of expectations. Over the years, I've learnt one thing. O ne should prefer concentrating on the goodwill of mortals who are doing work with you. No matter what you do, where you go, you are bound to encounter those handful of people who will try their very best to disappoint to you but eventually you'll understand that is their sole purpose of life. One thing, which I've understood during PG course is the importance of an open mind and an open heart but that just increases the vulnerability.  Maybe, one should give others a chance to live up to our trust and others should not be on a hunt to try to cultivate trust in spite of knowing

A teardrop in the lake..

It was an unusual winter evening, she was sitting at the corner of a semi-frozen lake, looking at the patches of water with her panoptic eyes. I was on the other side of the lake, sitting on a bench under a maple tree, trying to write something but she took a majority of my attention. I could see her nose inhaling the intoxicating air from the lake. There were people in front of us, trying their luck at fishing. Without any expression - be it sadness or happiness, she was staring at the lifeless lake. I again tried to resume my writing but my eyes kept on looking at her. The sun was in its final stage of descend, the darkness had spread its arms, engulfing the complete surrounding. I could see apparitions of those walking around the lake, couples probably. There was no sunset in the corner of the lake, yet there was something in the whole environment, which made it picturesque.
