Beauty!

Human beings are the master of categorization, luckily I belong to the same league!  We categorize men, women, colors, races, countries, regions, emotions, feelings and etc. It seems as if the rule of being human is "you need to learn how to categorize anything and everything - be it tangible or intangible"


I categorized a quality which gives pleasure to senses - Beauty into  - genuine and trivial. People these days confuse between the two very basic things - beauty of the eye and that of the heart. Then, what about the trivial beauty of the soul?


It's really hard to meet truly beautiful people in this world. But then, when you meet, it is apparent. They'll be those angels who greet you warmly, they won't differentiate between a poor or a rich while hugging. They have such an aura that it reflects the purity which they possess. You'll be in a different world altogether. When they smile, you can make out that the person really does care. They'll be your ears, they'll nurture your ideas, they'll be those who'd remember what you said and when.(effect of pure Almonds..huh?)


Some one has rightly said, "Outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates"

    I read somewhere that Aang Saan Suu Kyi had that quality when she visited India and talked to everyone with the same respect-raja and runk.

      Yep, there was an article, if I remember correctly it was in HT, on Aang Saan Suu Kyi, her humbleness and the same level respect for all.

Ramblings Again!

Consider a situation where you are signing a pact with  chariness, lack of authenticity and selfishness. You might ruin, in fact poison the relationship even before laying the foundation stone. People with whom you are dealing with will have a hard time in the face of your  incredulity, they won't be disputed to rise to your level of expectations. Over the years, I've learnt one thing. O ne should prefer concentrating on the goodwill of mortals who are doing work with you. No matter what you do, where you go, you are bound to encounter those handful of people who will try their very best to disappoint to you but eventually you'll understand that is their sole purpose of life. One thing, which I've understood during PG course is the importance of an open mind and an open heart but that just increases the vulnerability.  Maybe, one should give others a chance to live up to our trust and others should not be on a hunt to try to cultivate trust in spite of knowing

And here it is..Century!

So, the day has arrived. Finally! 100th post of my blog. I struggled with what should be the milestone post! Should it be prolific? Idealistic in nature. Broad in scope. So, I struggled. Back in 2007, few of my friends were bitten by the bug of blogging. Somehow, I managed  to spend one complete year, protecting myself from being bitten by this bug. But then, in 2008, my immunity gave in and I was affected by it. Over the years, I've seen myself maturing and its direct impact is visible in my posts. What started as a fun filled blog illustrating some of the interesting incidents of my under graduation, recipes which I used to cook(I don't have a kitchen now, only 3-4 outlets to survive apart from the mess where I hardly eat) to feelings which I used to pen down, now contains rants, poems, videos, pictures and not to forget articles. I had almost given up blogging last year but this year I started again. There was this intense drive from within to go on writing and
