Earworm strikes again!

Image
Some time back I had posted an article on Earworm. Couple of weeks ago, M had posted the song "Abhi Abhi" from the movie Jism 2 on her blog and recommended it to me. Though, I liked the song then and there but it never made it to my continuous "repeat" song playlist. Now, It's been 24 hours and the only song which is on my playlist is "Abhi Abhi". It's weird how something so trivial makes a dashing comeback in your life to become non-trivial. Mood is what governs one's playlist. Probably, that is the reason why I am hooked to this song. Thanks M!

Stroll of a lifetime

"The human spirit knows, deep down, that all lives intersect. That death doesn't just take someone, it misses someone else, and in the small distance between being taken and being missed lives are changed." The first time when our hands intertwined, I knew you were the one, the chosen one for me.  For me, you were like an imaginative character from a creative tale in the custom of fairy narratives. You introduced to me a person who was just another common fella trying to make the world a merrier place to live in. But, you made the person die while he was on a mission to save a cute little girl. Just to console me, you took me to a place which was not like the Shangri-la garden, a place where one was allowed to drift on clouds and slug in streams. To my surprise, I find the person who gave up his life during the heroic event and he takes me for a stroll. Trusting him blindly, I start walking and on our path to nowhere he acquaints me to five people whom he had met during h...

Mind=Randomize()

Everything around illuminates but blurs, emerging from thoughts, echoes and whispers, past is known and the future ready to tumble The memories that I'll never forget Haunts and always forces to reflect A weight causes me to sink Only allowing the briefest of blink Stains flash repeatedly in a catastrophe hurts instead of loving and reveals malevolence empathy is an enemy unlike ignorance No rest until horror is put to rest The self-conflagration I begin to detest Solid dreams I don't choose to make Forever being pulled in its wake

Waiting..

Silence pays of and so will mine. Wait is the only journey apparent over here. Freakishness isn't iniquity. Considering in a positive regard, which is so unusual it's lamentable,it may be savvied as a unique power over others. But did i say i'm abnormal?  <Naah> Another lame fish in the swarm of a kazillion; waiting for the moment when my voice will surface - when it will overpower it's helpless, submerged ego and rise! All with due elegance, higher than the myriad sea of incoherence - to stand higher than the highest - to gain and accept supremacy. And then? Well, you have to wait for it. So, I begin fresh, with greater amount of energy which over the time I have encapsulated around myself - it's like a glass shield - but a one way glass. You may not know what goes on in the inner depths of my watchful intellect; but I know that some where outside you're there ready to peep inside...Now, I know my kingdom and the powers I possess and limited though it may...

Stupefying F1

October 30th 2011 and October 28th 2012 - both had one thing in common apart from being the Race Day for Indian Grand Prix! On both the dates, I left Noida to head back to my temporary abode, IMTN. I missed the Grand Prix action on both the dates but it was this time that I witnessed F1 in a different style. As different and as astonishing as one can think of. Most of the cars in F1 are near about the same in terms of power. It's more like the battle of equals. It's exciting to watch cars roaring in front of your eyes. But what if you witness F1 off the circuit? Battle of unequals! On the expressway which connects the two densely populated dwellings across the river(supposedly) Yamuna. Now, take this - You are on your way to the airport. On the expressway you see 3 Audi's and 2 Jaguars trying to overtake each other. In comes a surprise - A maruti 800 and it zoom pasts these sexy yet mean machines. Dumbfounded you are! And to top it up, the driver of the 800 shows the middle...

Compromising doesn't mean..

At home, day before yesterday there was an article in a supplement of a leading national daily. I generally skip reading these supplements for the very simple reason - They contain bullshit! Who is dating who? Who is the latest victim of wardrobe malfunctioning? Who has slapped someone? Tours and travel ads! And not to forget Page 3 parties and the dress code or should I say the undress code they follow at these theme parties! But, considering the fact that I had hell lot of free time, I decided to read the supplement. After the general non-sense stuff, I stumbled upon this article which talked about compromise and relationship. The article began with the quote - "Compromising" doesn't mean that you are wrong and someone is right, It  only Means that you value your   relationship much more than your partner. The article revolved around the quote but it failed to include one basic fact that a relationship is much more than one's ego. Man being a social animal cannot af...

Giving away a part of myself!

Whether good or bad - the first's in life are events which one always remembers. Be it the sight of your parents when you're popped out from your mother's womb into this world(obviously your parents remember this), the first word which you utter, you're first step on mother earth. Fast forwarding, your 1st job interview, failing miserably in it and then a you eventually grab a job in a firm which you think is the most respectable in the whole world. You get your 1st salary and without any vacillation you spend it on your parents. The expression on their face is again something which you just cannot afford to forget. So after a few more months, you finally treat yourself and buy a cell phone, the 1st huge purchase for yourself from your salary. You use it for a year and then buy another phone. In spite of knowing the fact that you won't be using the old model again, you decide to keep it as a  priced possession. Another year passes by and finally you exchange both th...
